Record World

Record World is a Los Angeles record shop seeking to elevate its brand identity in the current age of social media. After a thorough creative process, I arrived at a compelling concept that brings this store out from the past, cleverly merging the words 'Record' and 'World' into a cohesive visual.

The Process:

During the initial sketching phase for 'Record World', the primary focus was on exploring the relationship between a record and a planet, particularly the circular shapes they both possess. The goal was to create a visual relationship between these elements. The idea came to me using the record as a metaphor for rings around a planet. The concept was quickly solidified on paper and vectorized.

By incorporating this concept, the logo effectively captures the essence of the brand while also providing a memorable and visually appealing design, further contributing to a successful re-branding campaign for Record World.
